This is a no reserve auction. The high bidder at the end of the auction wins thecar. The quadrifoglio featured different interior trim including red carpets and grayleather seats with red stitching. There were a total of 2,598 quadrifoglios madefrom 1986 to 1989. This alfa looks and runs great. I have a stack of receiptsfor work done to the car to document the mileage and work over the years. Thiscar is definitely a driver. It starts up on the first try every time, shiftsthrough gears easily with no grinding and the clutch was replaced just a littleover 1,000 miles ago. It has plenty of power and had the head rebuilt 5,000miles ago. Brakes are good with new front pads and rotors that have 1,000 mileson them. It does not leak any oil. The body looks good with a scuff hear andthere. The hard top is in good condition.

Nice canvas convertible top shows well. Later campagnolo wheels are in good condition and wearing older but serviceable rubber. A good topside car with some patches in the floors and evidence of previous front subframe repair. Interior shows well with good seat upholstery, door panels, carpet, original steering wheel, crack-free dash and clear (and working) gauges. Newer am/fm/cd stereo in dash. Under the hood is a 2000 cc twin-cam running spica fuel injection. Gearbox feels good and is smooth without the typical second gear synchro issues (see video). The twin cam revs freely with a fruity exhaust note -- this alfa is a joy to drive and still feels very "put together" and composed nearly 50 years since manufacture. AM/FM

Seller's comments and description: 1958 alfa romeo guilietta spider veloce. The car has a sbc350, edelbrock carburetor, turbo 350 automatic, griffin radiator, toyota brakes, 67 camaro seats, custom steering wheel, sidepipes, custom wheels, a ford live axle rear end with coil over shocks in the back. Drum brakes in the rear, disc brakes in the front. The unibody chassis has what appears to be a ford frame which supports the v8 engine. The car is tubbed so its possible at some point it may have been used in drag racing. The paint is driver quality but it does have a few bad spots. The firewall was cut into to make room for the v8. The engine is strong and runs great.
