Amazing condition with only 47k miles. I purchasedfrom original owner in utah, super dry car never driven in snow and alwaysgaraged. No dings or scratches, totally clean carfax. I've had it 5 yearsand only have put on 7k miles since i bought it. Always maintained perfectly,new correct chrome accessory wheels and brand-new tires! Trunk release buttoninside glovebox. Car is totally loaded and ready to go! Just a few specsin the nose area from the utah sands and winds. He can no longer tolerate the sun like he used toand so his meticulously maintained pride and joy is for sale. Buick firstintroduced the Riviera name in 1949. It has usually been linked to Buick’spersonal luxury models. One of the most notable was the 1963 Riviera SportCoupe. Some say it was the most elegant coupe any GM division ever produced. This low mileage 1982 Riviera Convertible (Generation 6) proudly carries on theRiviera namesake. All of the 1982 Rivera’s started out as coupes and a limitednumber were then converted to ragtops by ASC, Inc. The distinctive white paint has fine luster and the tasteful red leatherinterior is in excellent shape, as is the power-operated top. Distinctivefactory wire-wheel covers complete the exterior look. Convenience featuresinclude: air conditioning, power seats, cruise control and power windows/trunk. A 5.0-liter 8-cylinder 307 cubic inch engine powers the Riviera. This engineconsidered superior to the Cadillac Eldorado engine alternative vehicle. Rivera’s are equipped with power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes asstandard equipment. This is a very limited availability vehicle in excellentcondition with a couple of nic’s and two plastic cracks that I have pointedout in the photos. 1982 buick riviera in 1982 this car was given by gm to the owner of the dealership that sold the most buick's to that year. Unfortunately he died in a car accident before taking possession if this car. He enjoyed driving it for a few years when he decided to bring it to florida were he had a winter home and leave it garage kept there. It was only driven a couple weeks a year for several years before he and his former wife divorced. At that point she moved permanently to florida and he had the car transported back to illinois were he garage kept it. One day on a whim he decided to have the car painted in honor of his favorite team. So in honor of the alabama crimson tide he had the car painted crimson. Than in 2007 he decided to restore it to its original color. So that's what he did. The fellow who restored it said i should ask $30,000. Since then it's been treated like royalty. Never gets wet except for being detailed twice a year. Only has 10,900 miles on it. I drove it from charlotte nc to savannah ga just a few months ago. The ride was great. . I want to find someone who will love this car as much as my husband and i have.

White was one of the most popular colors on these cars, so popular that when the factory rolled out the convertibles, this was one of only two choices. Maybe that's why it still looks fresh, because the factory-applied paint remains in excellent shape. There's a softer shine that's indicative of paint that's got a few decades on it, but there's exactly zero evidence that this car has ever been wrecked or rusty. There are a few chips here and there, all of which are will in line with its age and mileage, but nothing that should raise any eyebrows. The single pinstripe that highlights the swooping belt line breaks up all the white, if only just a little bit. The padded half-roof is in excellent shape, showing no tears or popped seams and certainly no signs of trouble underneath. Bright chrome bumpers, a classic waterfall grille, and some bright stainless accents all help make the riviera look upscale, both then and now. The handsome gray leather interior is a nice change from the usual red, and it's very nicely preserved overall. Bucket seats and a console were a welcome sight in the luxury-oriented riviera, suggesting that gm's personal/luxury coupes were aiming a little bit higher than they had in the past. Everything was standard in the riviera, including a/c, power windows, locks, and seats, cruise control, and a decent am/fm/cassette stereo, which is the familiar delco unit that gm used for many years. The woodgrained accents warm up the gray interior and everything seems to be working correctly. The back seat is reasonably-sized for adults and there's a big trunk in back, complete with its original space-saver spare tire. Nicely maintained, it has never needed anything major and with so few miles, it should continue to run properly for many years to come. It starts quickly and idles smoothly and with a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, it actually pulls down decent fuel economy on the open road.
