1988 ferrari testarossa only 14k miles! Thetestarossa name paid homage to the famed world sportscar champion 1957 ferrari250 testa rossa sports racing car. Testa rossa, which literally means :red head:in italian, refers to the red painted cam covers by both cars 12 cylinderengines. There were only 7,177 produced from 1984-1991. They have proved to be awonderful collectors car. Its 5 speed manual transmission rips the road apart. This car has been held in a private collectors personal collection for a numberof years.

This car wasone of the first testarossa's in the united states, and was sold in texasin december of 1985. It has a production date of june of 1985 so it'salmost 32 years old. I have owned this car since 2014 and have very much enjoyedit and it's experience. This testarossa has been driven it's years, and has only a little over 22,500 miles. With only121 shipped as usa specified cars in 1985, this is a true collectable. There aremany 1986 testarossa's, but very few of the 1985's and they are not upfor sale very often, as collectors realize the importance of these first cars,and what they could be in the future. Ferrari's are the fine art of the carworld, and without a doubt the testarossa changed the car world in dramaticfashion. It currently is being serviced at the shop that completed the engineout service in 2014 in the seattle area for an annual and a ppi since i amlocated in spokane, wa and there is not a qualified shop here to complete a ppi. I have all the receipts from the 2014 service, which included a complete beltchange, new fly wheel, clutch, plugs and plug wires, seat repair (drivers siteseat the rear recline wouldn't hold) and ac work. The car at that time hadaround 20,000 miles. I have receipts also from a service that was completed backin 2005, along with some other service documents. The mileage at the time of the2005 service was only 18k miles. I installed a new shifter bushing that islocated at the engine bay as that wore out over it's 32 years. This is acommon item in the testarossa. I have also installed a new stereo as well. Thereis an old cellular phone in the car, mounted on the passenger side and i havenot removed it due to it's rarity and novelty. I also installed a capristoexhaust and. Air Conditioning
