Will take cash and nice stock suzuki/honda/yamaha atv. 1978 ford f100 custom with an original 88k original miles. This is a southern truck and is in very good original condition. The engine is a ford 302 v8 with twin turbo setup mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission. The 9" ford differential is open. We can honestly say that the truck is a rust free southern truck besides a couple minute spots but we stress that is is not rusty. The truck is originally green in color. The house of kolors candy orange paint is mixed with gold metal flake and is super bright in the direct sunlight. The engine starts and runs great, the transmission shifts extremely smooth. This f100 has not undergone a full restoration due to the fact it does not need one. All of the components on the truck are in working order. The armstrong windows move freely and the vent windows are awesome and are required to be in the open position while driving. It does not have a/c but it did from the factory. The sony radio makes noise but the real music comes from the sound of the turbos at 55mph with the windows down. All of the original gauges are in proper working order and the interior is very clean. The truck has never been to a race nor has it ever been on a dynomometer. We do not have any idea of the hp or torque numbers. The engine can be modified more by design if more power is desired. As the truck sits, it has zero problems keeping up with traffic or electric cars. It's actually rides and drives quite smoothly and comfortably. A legal bill of sale will be supplied as per georgia law it is pre-1989 year model and is not required to have a title. Will entertain a stock nice 4x4 atv and cash difference trade. This bronco gets the job done. Great looks don't hurt, either. As a result, finding a truck that hasn't been bashed and abused to within an inch of its life is no easy task. Fortunately, this one seems to have led an easier life of leisure, perhaps scouting remote hunting grounds or trekking across fields to get to a private fishing spot. The attractive blue paint is a few years old and shows a bit of wear, but by truck standards, it's pretty nice. Bodywork is extremely clean and everything fits together quite well, suggesting someone took their time to get it right. Bottom-line, this is just a really clean heavy-duty 4x4 that's ready for new adventures. The grille surround is still shiny, there are big mirrors for excellent visibility, and there are useful kc lights up front on a cool grille guard. It's also got a snug-fitting removable top that completely transforms the bronco when it's removed. It'll be tough not to have fun in this truck. Clean is the theme inside, too, where a pair of 2005 mustang gt leather bucket seats replace the original chairs. The black carpets keep the monochromatic theme going and the door panels remain in excellent condition. That center console also houses the shifters for both the 2-speed transfer case and the 3-speed automatic transmission, but it looks very oem. There's a rear bench big enough for three friends and the giant cargo bay is finished with matching black carpets that fit rather well. This is a big truck, but fortunately, there's a big v8 to move it around. The 351 cubic inch v8 was rebuilt in 2011, which was about 20,000 miles ago. There's a chrome air cleaner up top with matching valve covers to dress it up a bit as well as proper ford blue engine enamel on the block itself. Edelbrock supplied the intake manifold, which was painted to keep it out of sight, and there's a summit racing 4-barrel carb on top. The rumble from the long-tube headers and 2. 5-inch dual exhaust system sounding more like a vintage muscle car than a big pickup and a giant aluminum radiator means it doesn't get hot even when crawling at a snail's pace. Rugged, powerful, and built when trucks were industrial-strength tools, not image machines for guys with insecurity problems, this truck remains an outstanding piece of ford history and a heck of a lot of fun to boot. Obviously this one has been freshened a bit, but that gorgeous white-over-red color combination is how the factory built it and it's gorgeous! The big-rig look of this truck comes from a combination of the heavy-duty truck styling and the straight, clean lines that were a common sight on the back roads and farms of america for two decades. There's a lot of time invested in this big guy, and thanks to easy living down south, there's no signs of major bodywork. The paint is a few years old and not perfect, but given this truck's capabilities, it appears that it has not been used all that aggressively, and the shine it carries is better than anything 1970s paint technology could have managed. All the upscale xlt ranger trim remains in place, including the chrome bumpers, polished stainless grille surround, and the sweeping trim that stretches from nose to tail, neatly framing the red sections of bodywork. There's more of that awesome and tasteful color combination inside, where an original style bench seat gives this truck comfortable accommodations for three. Factory a/c is an unusual option on a '70s pickup (the system needs to be serviced) along with the original am radio that still works as it should. Cruise control buttons mounted on the steering wheel are a uniquely ford feature that was surely ahead of its time, although it's currently not functional (probably due to the engine upgrades). It's not quite the way the factory intended, with a new holley 4-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, and a flowmaster dual exhaust system deviating from original specifications, and there are a few chrome pieces to help it show off a bit.
