The original 400ci 345hp engine sits nicely in the bay with the original jetaway automatic transmission rolling this amazing car down the road. The saffron yellow with parchment interior was certainly appealing enough and along with the originality was quality to ensure a 2nd place in the 2016 OLDS Club of America National Meet with a total of 898 points AM/FM✔ CD Player✔ Air Conditioning

This is one of the nicestORIGINAL PAINT, Untouched Survivor, 1971 442's available in the World! Bornin Sunny Fremont, California. This California Blue Plate 1971 442 Survivor is aTOP SHELF investment that qualifies as a GOLDEN SURVIVOR! Still wearing itsORIGINAL SATURN GOLD Exterior paint & Desirable original Black interior, withmany desirable options to follow! Folks, the body is impressively solidconsidering its age and the fact that it's never been welded or restoredbeing over 40 years old! The body and paint are essentially a best case scenariofor an unrestored real "344 vin" 442 survivor. Super straight, pretty dry, andstill displaying the original paint, stripes, and Patina! Make no mistake, ithas its share of dings, scratches, and stone chips, as much from 40 plus yearsof life on Earth as from being driven over the 20 plus years it was in service. Thanks to Mother Nature, this car has a Patina like no other 1971 442! The carrecently came out of long term 20 plus year indoor hibernation storage while inthe second owner’s possession. After some minor servicingwas completed, and original carburetor rebuilt by one of the most legendarymechanics on the West Coast, it now runs and drives good and sounds great. However, it will still need some basic wakeup work, i. e: inspect brakes, replacetires as the original Winston PolyGlass tires are decades old, I would changeall the fluids, along with a more complete safety check, prior to driving daily. Good news is, the electrical seems to be working, including the original keybuzzer. It also still retains some of the original T3 headlights from when itwas new. I was told the original engine and transmission were rebuilt.

It is equal to or above the standards of the finest auction houses. With the exception of running to keep seals wet and gears turned it seldom sees road duty. It is housed in a climate controlled atmosphere and the only thing that touches it are polish towels, occasional sunshine and stares of admiration. It is equipped with a 400 CID and married to a smooth shifting 4-speed manual transmission. It has power brakes and but NO power steering. It has less than 500 miles since restore. There is not a nick, ding or flaw on this car and the undercarriage is clean enough to eat from. (Note plastic on carpet). The cost: $39,900 FIRM! Car is located in N. 1969 oldsmobile 442 - lithia springs, gastreetside classicslithia springs, ga 30122ph: 8773671835web: www. Cars like this 1969 cutlass 442 hurst/olds tribute offer the same big engine thrills as those other models but with more polish and sophistication, not to mention the high-impact hurst look. This one also packs a super nasty 400 cubic inch v8, race-grade suspension, and a look that will set it apart everywhere it goes. For an adult's car, this 442 hardtop has a distinctive look that's all about performance. Yes, it's a real 442, now upgraded to hurst/olds specs and we love the look. Crisp body lines are a highlight of the 1969 cutlass, and the sharp crease running along the tops of the fenders make a subtle yet effect styling statement, something that was highlighted by the gold hurst stripes. Oldsmobile designers weren't afraid to use chrome, even on their top performance model, so the bumpers, the grille surround, and side trim are all bright metal that sparkles against the bright white paint. Upscale materials and stylish patterns make it look far more luxurious and expensive than its price would suggest, and most of the stuff was new a few years ago so it's still in good order. The factory gauges are fully operational except for the fuel gauge, which has been replaced by an aftermarket unit under the dash. Things like the armrests on the door panels and the center console show some age, but everything else is quite nice, so get in and have fun. It also includes a factory am radio that's due for a replacement, as well as a neatly finished trunk that carries a big fuel cell. It's wonderfully detailed with oldsmobile gold paint on the block, aluminum valve covers, and an edelbrock intake manifold to brighten things up, and there's a big cam inside. A trick fast fuel injection system enhances power and reliability, and it's just effortless to drive.

A trick fast fuel injection system enhances power and reliability, and it's just effortless to drive. A big aluminum radiator with electric fans, serpentine belt system for the accessories, and an electronic ignition also help with the modern feel. Classic olds rally i wheels are painted to match the hurst stripes and carry a set of big (very big!) and little mickey thompson tires. We like this car a lot. It's attention-getting without being too flashy and it backs it up with incredible performance. There's a lot invested here but the price could be considered a bargain.
