The exterior is paint hotrod flat black. The interior is nice with a tan leather like material cover over the seat with the rumble seat matching. It has nice black carpet on the floor. Here is a great running 1928 ford model a coupe with rumble seat. This car is original with the flathead 4 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission in the floor. It has the foot starter on the floor. It cranks up and runs very good. It is an all steel body with fiberglass fenders and running boards. The paint is decent but not perfect. The hood is the worst on the paint but overall very presentable. All the glass is good. It has the push out front windshield. The interior of the car has green cloth material but has not rips or tears. The rumble seat was done in a tan vinyl material and is also in very good condition. The gas tank is still in front of the windshield and it has the gas cutoff valve under the dash. Overall a very solid and nice model a. The tires are goodyear 4 ply rating and are 4. 40/4. 50/21 with the wire spoke wheels. It has dual side mounts.

1931 ford model a - lithia springs, gastreetside classicslithia springs, ga 30122ph: 8773671835web: www. The slant windshield sedan is a 1931-only body style, easily identified by its slanted windshield (no kidding) and lack of an exterior visor like the earlier models. The effect is that this one looks bigger and more upscale than its older siblings, and with the two tone paint combination, the difference is striking. The colors are factory correct brewster green and kewanee green, which give it an understated and elegant look, particularly with the black fenders which were standard across the board. Ford's use of stainless steel means the bright work remains in great condition, and this one carries an optional side mount, wind wings, and a grille guard, plus a jaunty luggage rack. And for safety, auxiliary stop lights have been added to improve visibility on the road. The burgundy fabric upholstery is typical of an older restoration and is showing its age, but for a car that cost less than $700 when it was new, the surroundings are pretty luxurious. Matching door panels offer a cohesive look and the bright door hardware is in good shape with no broken handles. It happily pulls the sedan around without working too hard and cruises at 45 mph, so it's not a problem on modern surface streets. This one has years of reliable service behind it, so it runs like a model a should, and there's plenty of evidence of recent maintenance. The engine is correctly dressed in green engine enamel and with cloth wiring, a zenith carburetor, and those copper leads for the spark plugs, it looks quite authentic.

So i am selling my 1928 model a. It has an amazing backstory. Original owner purchased in 1928 from ny dealer. Drove to california for worlds fair (1939) and spent some time there as i have the tag for it while was there. Drove back to ny where the car was passed to his son. The son the left for the army and parked the car in a barn in 1955/56 and was kia somewhere. An old girlfriend of mine called me 8 or 9 months ago and was selling off the land her and her husband had and would i like the car in the barn. Her husband was the great grandson of the original owner. I bought it sight unseen and was the first to shed light on it since it was parked. I hauled it down here with the intent of restoring it but now realize i will never get to it so i must sell it. The motor is stuck and won't turn over. Most of the metal is in good shape with the exception of what was on the side of the shed that got the worst of the weather. The car is all original. The interior is all there as it was built and then parked. All knobs, handles, etc. - ever the rear shades that pull down to keep eyes out of the back are still there and the tires hold air!. It really is a time capsule. Milage is original and the sticker from the old service station that changed the oil verifies it. Any questions feel free to email or call me. Price in cash negotiable.
