This particular red over red speedster was originally built in 2007 and lived its whole life in southern california. The gentleman who owned it had a collection of 11 cars, mostly porsches and bought this one to have something that he and his wife could just enjoy back and forth to the country club in bel air. That is the reason the car has just 995 miles!!! He took the car to the same german car service shop that serviced his other porsches to keep it in perfect tune even though he hardly put any miles. It was just tuned and runs like new. this speedster has been pampered and with the super low mileage has basically just been broken in for the next owner to enjoy. As mentioned, the body on this red beauty is in near flawless condition and is sure to turn heads wherever it goes. The red on red combination is truly nostalgic! body panel fit is fantastic and doors open and shut like a new porsche. Everyone who has looked at this car is extremely impressed by the fit and finish. This car was aways garage kept and nicely detailed. the only real flaws i have noticed are a few extremely tiny rock chips down low along the front nose area. All of the chrome trim, badges and glass look excellent. This one has the bumper guards and awesome trunk rack to place a picnic basket or small luggage for a little excursion. Lights and turn signals all function correctly. Matching wine red shifter boot, e-brake cover and dash all in near flawless condition. rear seating area is padded to match and lets face it is really more of a storage area then a seat. if needed this speedster also has heat for those cool fall drives through the mountains. I have owned quite a few of the vintage speedsters so i knew what to expect when this one arrived. However, when i got my first one i have to admit i was a little skeptical about how much fun it would be to drive. I have driven plenty of high horsepower muscle cars, newer corvettes, bmw’s and porsches but these little speedsters have truly won me over!! It has a serious fun factor to it unlike anything else. This speedster has just under 1000 miles on the 1600 cc, dual carb air cooled volkswagen motor and the engine compartment is clean as a whistle. this car has just been serviced, tuned and fresh oil change so the new owner should not need to do a thing. It fires right up and runs very nicely!! this particular speedster also has the upgraded 3:88 4-speed transmission shifts smoothly and takes this little roadster up to speed quickly with no problem and sounds great doing it! This one also has front disc brakes making stopping a breeze. This little roadster really handles the road well and to me feels like a porsche 911 on the road. Maintenance is cheap and easy on this car and any foreign car mechanic should be able to do a valve adjustment and tune up every 3-4,000 miles to keep it running great. The wheels look great with the chrome porsche emblem hub caps and tires have tons of tread life left. Undercarriage looks great! This speedster replica is titled as a 1967 volkswagen making insurance and registration cheap and easy. check it out and also be sure to listen to the video to hear this baby start up and running.

He was a true car enthusiast with a nice collection of cars but the time came for him to let it go. At that time it had just 2500 miles on it and was sold to another car enthusiast in los angeles. He took it out every chance he had and put about 1800 miles on it in the short time he owned it. As mentioned, the body on this tuxedo black beauty is in near flawless condition and is sure to turn heads wherever it goes. The black and red combination is truly nostalgic! body panel fit is fantastic and doors open and shut like a new porsche. This car has obviously been opened by true car enthusiasts and was aways garage kept and nicely detailed. the only real flaws i have noticed are a few extremely tiny rock chips down low along the front nose area. I did notice a very small 1/2" cut on the top of the dash pad that could easily be repaired if desired but it is barely noticeable. Recent repaint in light ivory as well as extensive prior restoration receipts totaling over $36k from 2007 provide a car that looks as good as it runs. Body is solid with good shut lines and no signs of accident damage anywhere. The doors shut with a solid ring. The hood & trunk fit as they should. Some customers have questioned if the front hood has been been bent or "sprung" and the answer is no. Some of the photos show a reflection of the rubbers. When we purchased car it was painted in a non original triple stage white, hence the decision to repaint it in a correct factory 1965 porsche color. Car still retains its original floors with one patch done years ago near the pedal area. Jack points, rockers, battery box and front pan are in original condition. The interior of this car is in very good condition and was subject to a very expensive refurbishment. Everything works as it should even the original blaupunkt am/fm/short wave radio. Awesome nardi wood steering wheel with matching shift knob, talbot racing mirror and hella fog lamps complete the period look. The engine is nom 1965 c case with a number very close to the original kardex. The transmission is matching to the kardex & both perform as they should. The engine is correctly detailed with new powder coating and correct decals and accessories. Trunk is also properly detailed with includes tool kit, spare and jack. Any accident damage i have inspected the car closely and see no accident damage or repairs 2. Does it have a cert of authenticity from porsche we have kardex from porsche 3 when was is restored 2007 by farnbacher loles, have $35 k in invoices 4. When was it painted a few months ago 5. Is it road legal yes and runs and drives excellent 6. Any history and documentation have all the restoration invoices 7 what are the normal areas the rust like .. Back windows, front nose cone, back seats, sills, door posts, sock a airier mounting, front longitudinal etc this is not a rusty car. All those areas are solid and original.
