It refers to this year/model/motor asthe combo most desired given all options were included slandered with improvedpower out of the engine also prior to the implementation of this porsche has had a repaint and is showing some aging. It has acouple of small chips and there is a small bubble in the paint at the passengerside door opener. Also there is a crack in the paint on the rear deck lid about3" long. (hard to see) the under pan is very good but a aria under the frontspare tire well has been replaced. (please look at pictures closely) the body isstraight and shows well with its unripen marker and tail lights. The removabletarga top is in great condition and fixtures securing the top in the trunk havebeen replaced. Glass is very good and has been replaced at some time. Sidewindows roll up and down as they should. The car has the appearance package withcenter console gauges, recently replaced upholstery, though sun visors andheadliner are missing. A full seal kit has been installed along with vinylsails. Of note, the odometer is not working, however all other gauges functionproperly. Maybe about 5000 more miles are on the car's odometer that itshows. The engine has been converted to hydraulic lifters and the car has neverbeen appropriately tuned since the conversion. Spark plugs, wires, air filter,distributor cap, rotor, points, fuel filter and valve cover seals have beenreplaced in the last 12 months. In the past 6 year upgrades are, brake mastercylinder, rebuilt front brakes, replaced under car cooling ducting, installed apassenger foot-well subwoofer with amp in the front trunk, and installed newupgraded 100 lb. Veltmeister springs.

The atlanta showroom is offering this 1975 porsche 914. Porsche 914 drives like no other car. Upon getting inside the roomy cockpit�there's enough room for a six-footer, passengers are greeted by a very solid german feel. The 914 is huge inside with plenty of leg room and lots of shoulder room. The driving position is low, yet comfortable, and the shift lever falls easily to hand. The non-power, rack-and-pinion steering is nicely weighted with little or no vibration. The pedals reach from the floor, like the porsche 911, but are placed well and feel right. The view from the cockpit is great with few blind spots. The large gauges are very porsche-esque and easy to read. Once underway, the 914 feels like only a mid-engined or rear-engined car can. There is no sensation of heat in the cockpit unlike old front-engined sports cars. In typical porsche tradition, the 914 truly is more fun to drive than the sum of its parts would suggest. The rubber bumpers are in excellent condition, not faded and burned by the sun, and the bright orange lenses up front look great against the shiny black finish. A few splashes of chrome like the door handles and framing the Targa roof add some welcome contrast to the exterior and the black top panel remains in fantastic condition. Someone clever spec'd this car originally, because it has awesome white upholstery to go with the black bodywork and the look is fantastic. The seat covers appear to be original and are still in fine condition with only some light discoloration and a small split on the driver's side. Gray carpets prevent it from being too bright and reduce maintenance, while the door panels are simple affairs with black handles and armrests. There's also an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with a CD changer in the trunk. It's quite stock, so it runs great and reliability can't be beat. The thin-shell buckets are featherweight and comfortable, and the driving position is arguably better than that of an early 911. Big, round dials with the tach in the center will look familiar to anyone who has been in an air-cooled porsche in the past, with secondary controls that are sensibly, if a little cryptically laid out. There's a newer blaupunkt am/fm/cd stereo in the center of the dash and we have to admit that the green carpets work rather well in the yellow car with plaid seats. The roof lifts off easily and stows in the surprisingly spacious trunk, making this a true open-air cruiser. And with both front and rear trunks, there's a great deal of storage space. The car is mid-engined, meaning that the engine lives right behind the passenger compartment and ahead of the rear axle, which is a direct contrast to the rear-engined 911, whose tail-happy antics are well documented. Service access is actually decent since it was designed to be accessed from below, but we'll admit it's not as easy as just lifting the hood (just ask boxter owners how they like it). I looked for years for one that i liked before i found this one. The car is a totally rust free and damage free arizona 1976 model in grand prix white with black interior. The flares are oem steel, not fiberglass. It is a stunning car to look at, in my opinion, and god-awful quick. Over $50,000 was reportedly spent on the build including the car. It is totally a renegade hybrid conversion with an aluminum 5. 7l ls1 engine from a 2004 corvette. It features all renegade hybrid parts including a modified custom 4-speed transaxle, one piece billet flywheel and starter ring, high torque stage 2 starter, high performance pressure plate, kevlar 9” clutch plate, renegade coil over suspension, carerra front suspension and brakes, genuine fuchs wheels, custom renegade intake system, mti performance ls1 computer tune, custom bi performance headers and stainless steel exhaust system, complete renegade cooling system with aluminum radiator, duel electric fans, and electric water pump. The computer is a stock corvette complete with obd ii connection. The interior is clean and in great condition with a momo steering wheel. The car also has a nice after-market stereo system but i’d rather hear the ls1. This car drives better than a nice stock 914, more like a 911, but with near 400 horsepower, it’s a beast. It’s a personal car and i really dread seeing it go but it’s rarely driven and i’m getting old and recently had a heart attack. I have too many cars and need to start thinning them out. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. I have a clean and clear georgia title in hand and many receipts. I can hold the car for a reasonable time and help with shipping arrangements.
