1970 oldsmobile cutlass - lithia springs, gastreetside classicslithia springs, ga 30122ph: 8773671835web: www. Sporty, elegant, and quick, it's the perfect combination of features for a guy who doesn't want the same-old chevelle that everyone else has. The vivid yellow paint works extremely well on the chiseled oldsmobile's sheetmetal, looking quite forward-thinking for 1970 but also fashionable in 2017. Even better, the hood wears steel scoops, not fiberglass, and a correct rallye 350 decal kit was installed to add some aggression. Out back there's a 442-style wing, plus body-colored bumpers, sport mirrors, and a blacked-out grille to really make it stand out. Tribute cars are all about getting the look just right, and this car nails it, although experts are going to be surprised by how much better this one looks than a stocker. It still looks and feels like a proper luxury car inside, where black bench seats add to the upscale atmosphere. The upholstery is in excellent condition, which is thanks to a combination of durable materials and excellent care since it was restored a few months ago. The seat covers and carpets are brand new, while the rest is nice original stuff, so it all has an appropriate look. The factory gauges still monitor the basics, but a set of auto meter auxiliary dials live under the dash to keep a closer eye on the warmed-over 350 up front. And believe it or not, even the original am radio is still in the dash, although it's due for an upgrade in a car of this quality. Guys who know oldsmobiles know that olds' 350 inch small block is as durable as a block of granite and makes great torque that its siblings over at chevy and pontiac can only envy. It's backed by a th350 3-speed automatic and a set of highway-friendly gears in the 10-bolt rear, so it just loafs along at highway speeds, making it the ideal car for long road trips.

1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sx

I have for sale my “1970 cutlass sx” with a great running non-matching numbers but correct “390621f” 455 engine. This is a true triple black car. I have owned this vehicle for 10 years. I threw a rod with the original 455 engine when i was in the military in aberdeen, maryland. I then bought this great 455 engine from a gentleman in maryland who had already rebuilt it and it sounds and runs great. I truly mean the engine/exhaust sounds great. I have no papers to document the engine rebuild. I also believe this car might be a rare w32 car also. Because my mechanic said it had the “og” transmission and they only came in the 442 and w32 cars. I’m not claiming it to be a w32 though. I have not progressed with the car the way i should have due to a busy life so i think its time to let it go to another home. Some new stuff is new front shocks, brake pads, factory style aluminum radiator, exhaust, rubber brake lines, front bushings, rebuilt carb, and other parts that i can’t think of at the moment (mechanically it is good). My car is in the sx 455 registry although i’m no longer an active member. The car is a true triple black car with loads of options (see below). The mechanicals are great, but it need some minor body restoration such as the inside corners of both quarters, very small patch needed only, left lower fender. All the floors are in great condition, and trunk floor is solid with a couple small minor holes if i remember correctly. Still have the true factory type 442 cut-out bumpers (and original trumpet tips. Both bumpers need rechromed. The roof is solid and the picture shows dried glue and surface rust only. There is a small amount of surface rust around the base of the vinyle top where the panel meets from the base of the rear glass to the beginning of the trunk area…. Any trim that’s not seen in pictures are in the trunk. The hood is rusty and cracked a bit underside where the underside hood latch is located. The trunklid is a bit rusty where the underside key area is located at and across (i have acquired another hood and trunk lid that will be included in the sale, along with another front bumber (need rechorme). I have the new lower carpet for the two front door panels. All the door panels and dash is in great shape (enterior only need headliner and seats recovered). The car has been garaged 90% of its life since i have had it. Paint and residue was spilled all over it from sitting in a paint shop over 10 years ago before i got it. I have a clear maryland title, owners manual and plastic sleeve, a copy of the broadcast card with a few of the options listed, but i can’t find the build sheet. Also have a copy of the previous state title before maryland title that i have that's free and clear. I start the car up about every month or so and pull it out the garage and back in. Obviously its not perfect and needs some restoration but well worth the asking price. Thanks, and happy bidding. Serious inquiry please call 315-813-3307 for answers to questions that's not in the listing. Bucket Seats✔ Air Conditioning
